Riveter Consulting Group is assisting a private family in Marla Bay in sourcing a discreet, detail-oriented, and professional Executive Housekeeper / Caretaker for their primary residence. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge in luxury estate maintenance, specifically delicate materials such as marble foyers and specialty finishes, and thrives in maintaining a quiet, highly organized, and respectful household environment. This role combines executive housekeeping, light linen care, outdoor living maintenance, senior dog care, and light preventative maintenance for a low-maintenance home.

Schedule

Part-Time (Targeting 30 hours per week, open to full-time 40 hours for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Housekeeping & Daily Home Upkeep

  • Perform daily housekeeping and household upkeep, including bed making, kitchen cleanup, dishwashing, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining clean living spaces
  • Handle light household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing, linens, and towels (linen changes are light, typically for one bed once a week)
  • Provide meticulous care and appropriate cleaning for specialty materials, high-end finishes, furnishings, and marble flooring
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout actively used areas of the residence
  • Monitor household cleaning supplies and advise when items need replenishment

Outdoor Living Areas:

  • Maintain outdoor furniture and living areas, including wiping down furniture, cushions, tables, and outdoor surfaces
  • Keep patios and outdoor entertaining areas neat, clean, organized, and ready for use
  • Assist with seasonal setup, storage, and general care of outdoor furniture as needed

Pet Care & Housesitting:

  • Provide light daily care, companionship, and turnout for a senior 13-year-old Shih Tzu
  • Provide overnight housesitting and pet care when the family travels, with accommodations available in the private guest suite
  • Maintain the home and monitor the property during the family’s absence

Light Maintenance & Property Care:

  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and light handyman tasks, including changing lightbulbs, replacing batteries, minor adjustments, and occasional ladder work
  • Proactively identify household maintenance needs and communicate them to the homeowners
  • Assist with vendor access on rare occasions when outside service providers or contractors are on site

General Household Support:

  • Assist with household organization and special projects as needed
  • Receive packages and deliveries when requested
  • Maintain strict discretion and confidentiality regarding the family, residence, guests, and household activities

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of professional private estate or luxury domestic housekeeping experience
  • Specialized Knowledge: Proven expertise in proper care for fine surfaces, marble, and specialty materials
  • Discretion: High level of privacy awareness, professional boundaries, and a quiet presence
  • Pet Friendly: Comfortable around senior dogs and willing to house-sit overnight during client travel
  • Maintenance Skills: Ability to handle light household repairs and safely use ladders
  • Clearances: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and clean background check

Compensation & Benefits

$40-50/ hour (To be finalized based on experience and final schedule)

Living Arrangement
Live-Out (Overnight housesitting and pet care required during employer travel, utilizing the private guest suite)
