Riveter Consulting Group’s client located in Doylestown, PA is seeking a reliable, proactive part-time Household Assistant to help keep their home and weekly routines running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work, creating simple systems, and taking ownership of day-to-day household tasks. This is not a traditional administrative personal assistant role. The primary focus is errands, laundry, light meal prep, and maintaining organized household systems.

Schedule

Part-time: 12–16 hours per week
Morning hours preferred
Flexible schedule (Monday–Friday and/or occasional Saturday)

Primary Responsibilities (Core of the Role):

  • Run household errands including grocery shopping, returns, and general supply replenishment
  • Laundry management: washing, folding, putting away, basic wardrobe organization
  • Light meal preparation support: chopping ingredients, prepping items for refrigeration, basic food organization
  • Create and maintain simple household systems (pantry, closets, storage, routines) to reduce daily friction
  • Anticipate household needs and proactively handle recurring tasks without constant direction
  • (Professional housekeepers service the home bi-weekly; this role focuses on between-visit upkeep and organization.)

Secondary / Limited Responsibilities:

  • Occasional coordination with household vendors as needed
  • Light logistical support related to family schedules (minimal calendar management; not a primary responsibility)
  • Very limited travel or administrative coordination, only when required

What This Role Is Not

  • Not an executive or calendar-heavy personal assistant role
  • Not focused on inbox management, scheduling complexity, or admin work
  • Not a traditional nanny or childcare position

Ideal Candidate

  • Prior experience as a Household Assistant, Family Assistant, or Personal Assistant in a private home
  • Enjoys hands-on, practical household work
  • Naturally organized and systems-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Discreet, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Compensation

$30–$45 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
